The royal family of Monaco enjoyed its annual picnic, taking place for the first time in two years.

Princess Charlene, Prince Albert and their twins – Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques – spent their weekend celebrating the return of the annual U Cavagnëtu, aka Monaco Picnic.

Open to all inhabitants of Monaco, the annual open-air event began as a city hall initiative in 1931 and has since become a well-loved "family-type event" held in Princess Antoinette Park, per People.

The event did not take place in 2020 or 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Upon its return, Prince Albert told the publication how "wonderful" it is to be back.

Prince Albert kept things casual while Princess Charlene wore a striking high collared white lace tunic and pants from South African designer Terrence Bray.

The Creative Arts Emmys, which honours the best in artistic and technical achievement, was held over the weekend.

Thato Mosehle shared photos and videos of her bachelorette celebration over the weekend and revealed that "the big day is almost here".

Netflix has found the youngsters who will play Prince William and Kate Middleton in The Crown. This will mark the three actors' first TV appearances.

Kim Kardashian doesn't run, but when she does, it's with Ashton Kutcher. The reality TV star is a guest on Kutcher's new running series, Our Future Selves.

In one of the most unexpected movie comebacks ever, Brendan Fraser transformed into a morbidly obese man for The Whale.

REVIEW

"Its mix of complex characterisation and mounting dread makes it worth a walk on the dark side, and its underlying redemptive arc gives it a sense of hope and humanity that prevents it from ever getting too gloomy and morose. It's really rather good."
