Man reports receiving disturbing texts as part of a scam: Olmsted Falls police blotter
On September 2, a man reported he was receiving threatening texts showing pictures and videos of dead people. A person out of Florida had sent them as a scam, attempting to get money from the victim.

Drunk woman found outside Ace Hardware: Avon Lake police blotter
A concerned resident reported a woman lying on the pavement north of Ace Hardware on August 31. Officers located the woman, who said she had been dropped off by Uber. She stated that she was trying to get home to Olmsted Township and thought she was in Westlake. The woman contacted her husband to pick her up at the police station. She was cited for disorderly conduct-intoxication.

Noisy party asked to turn it down: Olmsted Township police blotter
On August 31, officers were dispatched to check on a loud noise complaint. Once on scene, officers made contact with the group who was having a party. The music was loud and they agreed to turn it down.
