Recently Suidooster hinted about stormy weather and strong winds heading towards Ruiterbosch, a fictional residential area in Cape Town. However, not even the stealthiest viewer could have predicted this shocking twist.
During a heartbreaking scene on Wednesday, 3 May, viewers bid a sad farewell to the Samsodien patriarch AB (Cedwyn Joel). AB succumbed to his injuries after a hitman shot him.
Viewers were left speechless and in tears.
According to a press statement, production had to keep Joel's exit from the show a secret after he filmed his last scenes on 28 February. The episode will air on Thursday, 4 May, when his character will be laid to rest according to Muslim burial traditions.
