Hey golfers,
Earlier this summer, the editors at Golf Digest had asked me, "What are some ways most golfers can get better without spending hours on the range?"
I actually loved the question. Beating balls is so boring. In college, when we had to do team practices on the range, I’d challenge my teammates to games to make it more fun.
Yet I think when most golfers think about improving, they think only about their golf swings. But there is so much more to this game–from how you look at a hole, to knowing your patterns, to how you dig yourself out of poor ball-striking, etc. In this cover story in the new issue Golf Digest, I get into some of the best lessons I've learned. It doesn’t matter what your handicap is. Just being a little smarter with your overall approach can lead to lower scores.
You can read the full story on Golf Digest+ here. You can also check out my Tour Pro Tutor video where I talk through some of the changes I’ve been working through in my putting.
We all have a big couple months coming up. Let’s finish this season strong!
