Hi John,
Today is a special day of generosity called Giving Tuesday Now. It’s a day set aside in light of the pandemic, that is being celebrated all over the world, for people to give to organizations that they believe in—charities that are making a difference.
We’d like to encourage you with this quote from our foundress, Mother Angelica. She said, “Sometimes my worst day—one filled with pain and suffering—in the eyes of God, is my best day if I’ve borne it cheerfully, and I’ve borne it with love.”
This is such a great perspective and one that is so relevant for the time we are in.
The effects of COVID-19 will be long-lasting; there’s no doubt about that. It will leave an impact on the economy, on the medical community, on individual families, and on your own heart and mind. But Jesus Christ is the Eternal Word, who is here for us throughout this pandemic.
EWTN has been helping people grow in their love and understanding of the Eternal Word for decades, and we will continue to do so well into the future—but not without your help. It is men and women, like you, who believe in our mission that make our work possible every day.
On this special day of giving, would you prayerfully support EWTN?
Specifically, we are looking for 250 new monthly donors today to give to EWTN on a regular basis. The ongoing support of monthly donors allows EWTN to provide prayers specific to this moment, daily Mass and Adoration online and through television and radio, relevant and trusted Catholic news, and comfort and hope every single day to you and millions of others around the globe. We rely 100 percent on donors to support our mission and ongoing work, as EWTN receives no funding from the Church nor advertising.
Would you prayerfully consider becoming one of the 250 monthly supporters needed on this special day of giving?
You will help strengthen people’s relationship with Jesus Christ, the Eternal Word, in the days, weeks, and months to come as the effects of this challenging crisis remain present in all of our lives.

May God bless you in a special way as you seek to show His love in these uncertain times.
