A third of homes for sale in Acadiana lowered the price in June

By ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

Happy Friday morning, Acadiana. Thanks for reading us this morning as you head into your weekend.

One third of all homes listed for sale in the Lafayette region have lowered their price as a result of a cooling market, economist Gary Wagner said during a Lunch N Learn event Thursday. The Acadiana real estate market is continuing its cooling off process along with other markets around the country as interest rates and prices have escalated in recent months.

You can read the story here.

Have a great weekend and see you back here Monday morning.
