British Beer Breaks

One of our authors, Kate Simon, has launched a new blog, British Beer Breaks, to provide a new way to savour exploring the UK. Kate, who co-wrote Slow Travel: Cheshire, tells us that she was inspired to join the dots between beer and travel after hearing about how beer styles, breweries and events have boomed across the country in the past 10 years and the growing community of men and women of all ages embracing our traditional bevvy. Kate, the former Travel Editor of the Independent on Sunday, is joined at the keyboard by her friend Phil Mellows, who has spent more than 35 years writing about pubs and breweries for national titles. Their quest is to help people connect beer and travel with entertaining insights and recommendations.
