Home prices: The New Orleans area housing market has been in a slump for two years, but as Stephanie Riegel reports, there are signs that is beginning to change, at least in some neighborhoods.
Threatened by salt: Plaquemines Parish's water supply is being threatened by saltwater intrusion for the third year in a row. Local officials say they're ready for it, but businesses are weary of having to deal with the equipment damage and other hassles that come with it. Mike Smith has the story.
Recall petition lagging: Summer is almost over, and the deadline for organizers to get more than 35,000 signatures to trigger a recall election for St. Tammany Parish Coroner Christopher Tape is approaching. They're less than halfway there but say they expect to be able to get the required signatures ahead of the October cutoff. Alex Lubben has the details.
