Mayoral race: With four candidates officially running for mayor in the October election, how are voters feeling about the city's prospects? Our City Hall reporters interviewed more than a dozen voters to find out. Religion and capital punishment: Of the many voices surrounding the debate over Louisiana's first execution in 15 years, which is scheduled to be carried out this week using nitrogen gas, religion has been a significant one. Andrea Gallo and Meghan Friedmann have this report. Laid to rest: A funeral service was held Saturday for Caleb Wilson, the Kenner native killed in an alleged hazing incident at Southern University in Baton Rouge.
