That's why this successful West Bank restaurateur is giving back with free lunches for children in the summer. A new Morrow restaurant featuring Creole-Caribbean fusion is coming. Chicken's Kitchen has given out thousands of free meals.Many kids depend on free and reduced-price lunches during the school year. Summer can be a hungry season. Chicken's Kitchen in Gretna launched its summer lunch program on May 26, with the mission of serving any child who came into its main restaurant or second location, The Coop. So far, the business has given away more than 2,800 meals. 2. Spice is niceThe newest restaurant under Morrow Hospitality is preparing for its grand opening celebration during Essence Fest. Spicy Mango, a Creole-Caribbean fusion restaurant on Frenchmen Street, is slated to open its doors to guests on July 5. 3. Wine and dine Not just angel food cake, but chocolate angel food cake.
