A1 | Lincolnshire | Both Directions | Flooding | Road Closed

The A1 in Lincolnshire is closed in both directions due to flooding following heavy rain in the region over the last 2 days. The northbound carriageway is closed between the A52 (Barrowby , Grantham) and the B6326 Fernwood), the southbound is closed between the B6326 (Fernwood) and the B1174 (Long Bennington).

Southbound motorists are to follow the hollow diamond symbol: Exit the A1 at Newark and travel south westerly on the A46 to Saxondale. At the A52 travel east to re-join the A1 at Grantham.
Northbound follow hollow circle: the above route in reverse.
