A19 | County Durham | Carriageway Closed | Northbound | Expect Delays The A19 inCounty Durham is currently closed northbound between the A139 and the A1027 near Stockton-on-Tees due to flooding. Highways England has resources deployed working hard to restore normal conditions as soon as possible. Road users are advised to expect disruption and to allow extra journey time. Diversion route details and guidance is as follows; Road users are advised to follow the solid black triangle diversion symbol on road signs. Exit the northbound A19(T) and follow the exit slip road around to the roundabout with the A139. Take the third exit onto the A139 eastwards for 500m, until the roundabout with A1027/B1275. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A1027 heading north for 600m until the roundabout with Wolviston Road/Central Avenue. Take the first exit onto the A1027 and head west for 300m, then at the roundabout, take the third exit to rejoin the northbound A19(T).
