In 1st year as AG, Aaron Frey has had to decide when Maine opposes Trump

• The Democrat who became Maine's attorney general last year said in an interview with the BDN that he spends some time each day deciding whether Maine should sign onto lawsuits, letters and "friend of court" briefs opposing Trump administration policies. The calculation isn't just whether he opposes the policy, Frey said.

• There are few things cuter than a fuzzy, warm baby chick. But close interaction or cuddling with that same chick or its poultry parents can be a real health risk for humans. So, turning a chicken into an indoor house pet is not a good idea.

• These teams, which met in the America East championship game in each of the past two seasons, play their mutual league opener.
