Dubai’s giant strides in innovation and technology is set to make it a global gaming hub in 2024, amidst projections of the gaming market in MENA reaching $5 billion by the turn of the year, industry experts said.

Aside from this, investments in UK real estate from Gulf investors will remain strong in 2024, industry insiders told Arabian Business, citing recent deal activity and the incoming ETA visa scheme.

On the travel front, the UAE continues to hold its status as one of the strongest passports in the world, offering visa-free access to 183 countries. As per the global Henley ranking, those who hold UAE residency visas also have access to several countries visa-free.

In addition, the most punctual airlines in the Middle East have been revealed by global aviation analytics experts Cirium.

In terms of jobs, AI will disrupt nearly 40 percent of jobs globally by replacing some jobs and complementing others, with advanced economies facing more disruption, according to a new analysis by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
