On the health front, people looking to extend their lifespans can start adopting changes to their lifestyles to reverse ageing, experts told Arabian Business. As more evidence mounts on factors influencing longevity, living past the age of 100 is within reach for many willing to tweak their lifestyle habits.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has developed digital documents which will allow travellers to come into the country without needing a passport. The General Directorate of Passports is showcasing the digital document for visitors to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion in the LEAP 2024 Conference, taking place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

As the UAE prepares for Ramadan in 2024, the Ministry of Economy  announced that the nation will ban price increases on certain essential items and announced sales of up to 75 per cent off nearly 4,000 items during Ramadan. Prices on essentials such as rice, poultry, bread and dairy will be frozen in an effort to protect consumer rights in the country.

In addition, workers in parts of the UAE will have three-day weekends and four-day working weeks as well as reduced daily hours during  Ramadan.
