Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, renowned for its luxury and opulence, boasts a frond dedicated to the most elite of the elite: The Billionaires Row. This exclusive stretch of beachfront real estate has become a magnet for the world’s ultra-wealthy, boasting some of the Middle East’s most opulent and expensive residential properties.

In other news, Dubai Opera, the premier cultural hub in the Middle East, has announced an expansive artistic programme for its 2024-2025 season, featuring over 50 international performances and solidifying its position as a leading global performing arts destination. The upcoming season, set to commence this month, promises a diverse array of productions spanning opera, ballet, musical theatre, and concerts. With more than 1,000 performers taking the stage throughout the season, Dubai Opera aims to cater to a wide range of artistic tastes and cultural preferences.

On the transport front, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Police General Headquarters have introduced Joint Patrol Units for Heavy Vehicles Monitoring in Dubai. These units will enforce technical compliance among heavy vehicles across six major roads: Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Emirates Road, Al Khail Road, Ras Al Khor Road, Al Maktoum Airport Road, and Dubai-Al Ain Road.

Meanwhile, Qatar Airways has announced plans to resume flights to Abha, Saudi Arabia, and increase services to NEOM. The airline will operate two weekly flights to Abha International Airport from January 2, 2025, marking its 11th destination in the Kingdom.

Aside from this, a new trend is hatching on TikTok as women celebrate their reproductive choices with ‘egg showers’ – festive gatherings where friends and family toast to fertility preservation and family planning on one’s own terms. While this trend offers women the option to postpone starting a family while pursuing other life goals, what exactly is it all about?
