The Dubai real estate market has been on an upward trajectory, with no signs of slowing down. As Dubai’s real estate market continues its strong performance in 2024, potential investors are increasingly asking: Is now the right time to invest in villas? Here is what experts told Arabian Business.

Meanwhile, in a classic case of London’s loss becoming Dubai’s gain, super rich global investors are shifting their focus from prime central London to the Gulf city for acquiring multi-million, super-luxe residential units amid concerns about the new Labour government’s tax and spend priorities, market study and sector experts said. Dubai’s steady and high yielding return on investment (RoI) potentials from property investments are adding to the lure for cash-rich buyers to shift their focus to the emirate.

In other major developments, the UAE fuel price committee has announced the petrol and diesel prices for August 2024. UAE petrol prices will see a rise in August compared to July.

Aside from this, Emirates, the Dubai-based airline, announced on Wednesday a significant change to its operations involving Beirut, Lebanon, in response to escalating regional tensions, Reuters reported. The carrier stated that passengers transiting through Dubai on their way to Beirut will not be accepted for travel on Thursday and Friday. This temporary measure affects a key segment of Emirates’ traffic to the Lebanese capital, potentially disrupting travel plans for numerous passengers.

The tech giant now plans a phased rollout of these features. However, Apple is reportedly allowing software developers to test its AI capabilities for stability and bugs through beta versions of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1.
