The UAE real estate sector is seeing an upsurge in investments by women, who collectively estimated to have poured in close to $25 billion (AED90.5 billion) in 2023, a whopping 53.9 percent jump from the previous year, a latest market analysis revealed.
In addition, the UAE music industry is also set for a major boost with the development of a hub for recording artists and industry professionals. Universal Music Group (UMG) and DGMC have announced a strategic partnership that will supercharge the Middle East region’s music community.
Moreover, a Dubai property developer has been issued a licence to use 3D printing in the construction industry. The licence was granted to Nakheel for the Al Furjan Hills project in December 2023.
Aside from this, the best places to work in the UAE have been revealed, in a survey identifying top employers in the region. Great Place to Work has revealed the list of “Best Workplaces in UAE for the year 2024.”
Meanwhile in Saudi Arabia, NEOM has announced a luxury ski resort will open at Trojena in the kingdom in 2027. Raffles Hotels and Resorts and NEOM have unveiled plans to debut a new resort in Trojena, the year-round mountain destination located in northwestern Saudi Arabia.
