Meanwhile, UAE residents can expect a five-day long weekend on account of Eid Al Adha 2024, predicted to start on June 17th. Following recent trends, travel rates are on the rise during this period, especially to short-haul and hassle-free visa destinations. As residents in the country make travel plans for the long-weekend next month, here are some visa-free destinations that are a short flight away from the UAE.

On the real estate front, as the Dubai property market continues to break records in 2024, leading consultancy haus & haus Real Estate says the Palm Jumeirah is performing especially well on the sales front, with luxurious beachfront homes being targeted by wealthy global buyers.

In other news, the world’s best airlines have been rated and ranked in highly influential award ceremony organised by AirlineRatings.com. It named Qatar Airways as its Airline of the Year for 2024. Qatar Airways nudged out previous winners Air New Zealand as well as Korean Air, Cathay Pacific Airways and Emirates for the top spot.

In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia has released guidelines on mandatory and recommended vaccinations for visitors attending the annual Hajj pilgrimage in 1445H (2024). The updated guidelines aim to safeguard public health during the Hajj season.
