The United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Justice has announced significant changes to its travel ban-lifting procedures. This move is part of the country’s broader “Zero Government Bureaucracy” initiative which aims to simplify administrative processes and enhance efficiency.
On the real estate front, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) are increasingly focusing on the Dubai real estate market, drawn by the promise of tax-free returns and potential yields of up to 10 percent, experts told Arabian Business. With no limits on property purchases and opportunities for long-term visas, the UAE continues to attract NRI investors seeking lucrative real estate opportunities.
Meanwhile, Dubai-based master developer Arada has announced its first expansion outside the UAE with the opening of an office in Sydney, Australia. Arada plans multiple residential and mixed-use projects in Sydney, the most populous city in Australia. The initial portfolio is valued at AED 6 billion and aims to address the housing shortage.
In other news, private schools in Dubai are celebrating impressive A-level results as students find out grades which could lead to university placements and establish career goals. GEMS Education, Repton Dubai and Brighton College were among the schools to share results for students completing secondary education this year. A high number of students in Dubai achieved the highest A* and A grades and many will now go on to pursue university education.
In Saudi Arabia, the kingdom will “absolutely” become a global automotive hub, Faisal Sultan, Vice President and Managing Director of Lucid Middle East told Arabian Business in an exclusive interview. According to Sultan, the kingdom aims to produce 500,000 electric vehicles annually by 2030, investing $50 billion in the automotive sector over the next decade.
