The UAE has unveiled "CHAG," the world’s first ChatGPT-powered tool tailored for the agricultural sector. Launched at COP29 in Baku by Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri, Head of the International Affairs Office in the UAE Presidential Court, the tool uses over 50 years of agricultural research to help farmers make data-driven decisions about planting and harvesting, while addressing the challenges posed by unpredictable weather patterns.

Meanwhile, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a project to improve access points for four residential neighbourhoods. The plan aims to reduce entry and exit journey times by over 50 percent, upgrading connectivity to roads such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road for areas including Nadd Hessa, Al Awir 1, Al Barsha South, and Wadi Al Safa 3.

On the real estate front, the Dubai property market recorded AED14.54bn ($4bn) in transactions last week. Sales accounted for AED9.12bn ($2.5bn) of the total, with 3,229 sales transactions completed between November 11 and November 15, according to Land Department data.

In addition, Abu Dhabi developer Aldar has launched Mandarin Oriental branded residences in Saadiyat Cultural District. Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, the 226 units will be managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, offering views of Zayed National Museum and access to Mamsha Beach. Sales will begin on November 21.

In other major news, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) partnered with the Australian Embassy to host a workshop promoting its digital services for the expatriate community. The initiative aims to improve legal awareness and educate non-Arabic speaking residents about the Department’s services as part of its outreach programme.
