In the UAE, the National Investment Strategy 2031 has been unveiled, setting an ambitious goal to triple the country’s cumulative FDI balance to AED 2.2 trillion ($599 billion) by 2031. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, in the presence of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, presented the strategy at the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2024 in Abu Dhabi, which bring together over 500 officials, private sector leaders, and community representatives.
