Longtime KATC anchors expected to join competitor

Good morning, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get right to the headlines.

More news on the moves at KATC. Longtime evening news anchors Marcelle Fontenot and Jim Hummel are reportedly set to jump over to competing station KADN and will resume their old roles there manning the desk for the evening broadcasts.

An announcement is expected in two weeks that will make it official.

Meanwhile, Fontenot and Hummel did their last shows during the 6 p.m. broadcast on Friday evening.
