KATC's longtime anchors say they're leaving

by Adam Daigle | Acadiana business editor

Good morning, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get right to the headlines.

The news rolled out last night on social media as the two anchors at KATC separately announced their plans to leave the station on Friday. Neither Marcelle Fontenot or Jim Hummel gave reason for their departures. Both had manned the desk at 5, 6 and 10 for years at the station.

It's unknown of the departures are related to layoffs the company announced earlier back in February. More on this story could shake out today, so check back later.

Check out the story here.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.
