by Adam Daigle | Acadiana business editor

Good morning, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get right to the headlines.

Short-term rentals such as Airbnbs will be banned in single-family residential neighborhoods in the city of Lafayette. The City Council voted 4-1 Tuesday on the prohibition after years of delay.

The action does not prohibit short-term rentals in multi-family residential zones.

Check out the story here.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.
