ACCC chair Rod Sims has launched a scathing attack on large companies while addressing an audience at the National Consumer Congress this week. I am continually puzzled as to why some large companies treat their customers so badly, and with so little respect Sims told his audience.

Telstra has secured a multi-year contract to provide high-speed broadband services via satellite to Newcrest Mining’s Lihir gold mine in Papua New Guinea.
