AccelerateSC debates amusement parks, municipality funding

As AccelerateSC's 30-day cycle comes to a close, the task force continues to tackle issues ranging from reopened amusement parks to suspended business license penalties. 

Penny Tax program update available Thursday

A virtual town hall will provide Richland County residents a chance to receive updates on and ask questions about the county’s Transportation Penny Program. The town hall will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.

County seed program restocking, creating waiting list

Richland County’s Seed Sanctuary program has received more than 1,400 requests for packets of spring vegetable, herb and wildflower seeds. The program is funded by a grant from Friends of National Association of Conservation Districts.
