News from the ASB
The ASB’s Board met in July 2020. The key decisions of the meeting were as follows: - The Exposure Draft of revisions to GRAP 25 on Employee Benefits was approved. The proposed changes to GRAP 25 have been made to align it to IPSAS 39 on Employee Benefits. Comments should be submitted on the proposed changes by 30 November 2020.
- The Board approved the development of an Interpretation on GRAP 3 on Accounting Policies, Changes in Accounting Estimates and Errors. The proposed Interpretation will provide guidance on how to deal with past assessments of materiality.
