Roy Carubba, recently appointed as chair the New Orleans regional flood protection authority board, has made controversial changes since joining and has been vocal about what he claims is a culture of corruption and mismanagement. Health care concerns: The U.S. Senate's take on the Trump Administration's budget reconciliation package is alarming Louisiana’s health care industry for, among other things, putting provider taxes on the chopping block.
