Hi, Do

Fall is in the air here and I know some of you are dealing with an incoming hurricane! I'm praying for safety for all along the East coast.

Here inland I am watching the leaves just beginning to turn and the weather cooling off. It feels good and it means I'm busy as can be. I'm doing all my usual canning tasks and... recording it all for you! Read below about the new Canning Class that is opening up soon.

My online canning class now has a waitlist.

My class has been put on hold for the moment and I'm feverishly getting the new content ready and updated. More video tutorials and more help from me. I can't promise a release date but I'm pushing for the last week of September... which is real soon. (Maybe 1st week of October just to be safe :) ) The first group to be notified when the course is again open will be the Early Bird waitlist. Join the waiting list by clicking this link.

If you'd like to read more about the class you can see a pre-description here.... I say pre-description because I've added so much since I wrote that page.

Preserving Corn

We are at the end of our corn season but I noticed the freezing corn is actually still high in the pages being visited at Simply Canning. I conclude that many of you are still in corn season. Learn how to can, pickle, dehydrate and freeze corn at this page.

Preserving Apples

Apples are in full swing here. I've been busy with plain apples, apple pie filling and applesauce still needs to be done. Learn how here.
