This 21 November, we will be holding the virtual ‘Premier Overseas Education Webinar UK’ in partnership with HSBC Philippines. Speakers will share how they plan for studying in the UK and practical advice on settling overseas as an international student.

17 HEIs to start English medium training

49 teachers from 17 Philippine universities are slated to begin their master trainer course in English medium education (EME) with the University of Southampton in October. This training is a component of the British Council’s ACT-IHE project with CHED.

Scholarship applications for A.S Hornby Educational Trust are open

The applications for the Hornby Educational Trust scholarships is open until 31 October, at 12.00 midday UK time. The scholarships are awarded to English language teachers from outside the UK to study for Masters in Teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).
