Are you a woman in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) wanting to pursue a postgraduate study in the UK? The British Council opens applications for the Women in STEM scholarships.

The ELTons Awards now accepts  entries for the latest innovations in English language learning, teaching and assessment.

Internationalisation QA for public universities

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED), local accreditation agencies, universities and the British Council validated the proposed internationalisation quality assurance (QA) indicators for Philippine state universities and colleges.

Master trainers complete EME course

Last December 2021, 49 teachers completed their master trainer course with the University of Southampton as part of our English medium education (EME) training.

Another Newton scholar finishes PhD degree

We celebrate Dr Marciana Galambao’s completion of her PhD in Environmental Biology at the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Her study is on population genetics and endosymbiont studies of the banana aphids in the Philippines.

TNE model for public health study is out

The University of Santo Tomas (UST), a partner  in our TNE programme, published the study ‘Promoting Academic Exchange in Public Health: A Transnational Education Model’ in the Journal of Medicine UST.

Scholarship applications for A.S Hornby Educational Trust are open

The applications for the Hornby Educational Trust scholarships is open until 31 October, at 12.00 midday UK time. The scholarships are awarded to English language teachers from outside the UK to study for Masters in Teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).
