Another Newton scholar completes PhD

We congratulate CHED-Newton Agham PhD scholar, Dr Dave Buenavista for finishing his PhD in Conservation Biology at the Bangor University, UK. Dave has now been reinstated to his home institution in Central Mindanao University as Assistant Professor.

Newton virtual workshop on universal healthcare

The Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health and Public Health England held a Researcher Links virtual workshop last 29 June. The two-week course titled ‘Using mathematical modelling to aid governance in Universal Healthcare in the Philippines’ was attended by over 50 medical and statistical practitioners.
