What are the entry points between the Philippines and UK? | Join us for an exciting online forum on 25 November, 09.00–10.30 a.m. (UK)/5.00–6.30 p.m. (PH), as we give an overview of connections and challenges between the UK and Philippines from a cultural and socio-economic perspective. The session will explore existing links created through the arts, trade and migration, and reflect on how these can become gateways for artistic collaboration, innovation and stronger cultural relations. It is part of the four-day event, Partner South East Asia, which will present arts and culture opportunities between the UK and Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. This discussion will gather notable sector leaders, including: Hon. Loren Legarda (District Representative, Antique), Pio Abad (Artist), Pauline Juan (Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions), Deirdre McKay (Keele University), Chris Millado (Cultural Center of the Philippines), and Dr Rafael Schacter (University College London). |
