TNE Research Launch Webinar

On 20 October, we will hold a simultaneous launch of two global research reports, The value of transnational education partnerships and Environment for transnational partnerships and UK qualifications: challenges and opportunities. This webinar will provide an avenue for universities to participate in the discussion on the practical application of the research findings.

Free training courses for teachers

Discover short courses on our teacher development platform such as teaching grammar, developing skills for remote teaching and teaching gender in language education. All are free and will take place on specific dates during the year.

Going Global 2022

For the first time, British Council’s flagship Going Global Conference will be held in Singapore, focusing on the Asia Pacific region. The event will take place from 28 November to 1 December.

EME master trainers feted in a virtual ceremony

On World Literacy Day, we recognised the commitment of our 49 English-medium education (EME) master trainers and their home institutions. The EME training is under the ACT-IHE project of the British Council and the Commission on Higher Education and provided by the University of Southampton.

UK-PH TNE Degrees

As we develop new TNE programmes under ACT-IHE, let's look back at the UK-PH degrees successfully developed through the CHED-British Council JDNP partnership. Students with these degrees receive academic qualifications from both the Philippine university and its UK partner institution. Graduate programmes on sustainable food systems, designing education and built environment, among others, were previously not offered in the country.

#BuhayUKStudent: Shannen on her peacebuilding studies

Meet Shannen Ann Enriquez, a graduate student of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Manchester. She shares her unforgettable experiences in the UK and how the graduate modules on peacebuilding, humanitarian response and development complemented her prior work in conflict-affected areas in Mindanao.

A guide for education agents

This online course from Study UK will provide international education agents with training and advice on all aspects of UK education. The three-week course offers a free digital upgrade and starts on 17 October.
