The bodies of three of four Royal Australian Air Force crew killed in a plane crash at Duntroon had been buried with full service honours on this day in 1957. A story on the front page of The Canberra Times said services were held at St Andrew's Church for flying officer Hector Macdonald, of Narrabundah, and sergeant Ian MacKrill, of Victoria.
