“Activism in the Five Boroughs,” the Forward’s newest collaboration with Urban Archive, the city’s award winning digital mapping platform for storytelling, hits its activist stride with a new series focused on social justice.

We were thrilled to be invited to participate alongside some of the city’s top historical organizations like the New York Historical Society, the Center for Brooklyn History and community archiving project, Queen’s Memory. We're equally excited to help launch “Activism in the Five Boroughs,” a series that highlights the tireless work of the activists who have made our city what it is today.

As the debate over the freedom of religion and protest continues to intensify in Israel, join us for a unique webinar to explore Rabin’s legacy and the relationship between Judaism and democracy today. What has changed in the last 25 years and what does the future hold? Is Jewish democracy possible?
