In some cases, stars were fired for on-set conduct: Lest we forget that Shannen Doherty was fired from not one but two TV shows – Beverley Hills, 90210 and Charmed – for "inexcusable behaviour".
 

In others, it had to do with their personal lives infiltrating their professional ones, like when Columbus Short was abruptly fired from Scandal (known as The Fixer in South Africa), reportedly due to a restraining order his wife filed against him.
