He, like most of us, had always assumed that type 2 diabetes was a disease of older folks. He had heard that, even if the patient was unlucky enough to have a genetic history of diabetes in the family, if they got diabetes it would be much later in life Then he reviewed the information from Maggie A. Stanislawski and team, and this changed his thinking 100%. | Know the Side Effects of the Drugs You Prescribe Male, 72 years of age, type 2, insulin-requiring diabetes, also taking SGLT-2. Annual physical. No urinary complaints during the visit. Received annual lab work end of the workday, glucose elevated much higher than the reports. WBC elevated, 1200, no urine culture, but U/A did show cloudy.... |
