I love my older more comfortable brassieres but they tend to get rough on the edge so I decided to try sewing some really soft scrap material on the edge to get more life out of the bra.

One of my nieces wants to be a princess for Halloween, so a princess she shall be. Okay, a pennies-on-the-dollar Attosa princess. (Side note: I was named after a princess, so I think you should trust me with this craft!) I took an empty 2-liter bottle, dazzled it with glitter, and cut it to shape.

Repurpose Old Food and Storage Lids for Paint Palettes
By tiffanytallent1981
In lieu of buying paint palettes, why not make your own? I have used paper plates before, but all the paint tends to run together eventually. With just a few supplies, you can have a palette that keeps the paint separated and is perfect for any age to use.

This month I have received another magazine addressed to me that I did not order. After browsing these magazines, you can recycle them by creating lots of fall and Halloween cards with the pages inside - the possibilities are endless.

Spice Up Napkin Holders with Fall Craft Leaves
By tiffanytallent1981
I wanted to spice up our normally solid black napkin holders and used fabric craft leaves to do it. If the napkin holders you are using have holes in the design, it's easy to add leaves. Simply stick the stems into the sides along the bottom and attach with zip ties that match your holder.

Jack-'o-Lantern Painted Wine Bottles
By Ana
We have a love for wine! Often we have leftover bottles that get trashed. So hmmmmm, maybe an art piece. Because it's fall time, I wanted to tie my art to a fall piece.

I have collected plenty of paper rolls and I already started my decorations. Today I'm working an ornament made of paper rolls. It might be too early to prepare for Christmas, but I'll be making plenty of these so it's always better to create as early as possible.

Autumn Decor for Your Refrigerator
By tiffanytallent1981
Decorating for different holidays and seasons is so much fun! I especially enjoy making items for the house and work for fall. This year for work, I wanted to add a scene of some sort that allowed for every employee's name. I decided to use pumpkin and leaf cut-outs and printables, as well alphabet punch-outs.

Fall Decorated Artificial Pencil Christmas Tree
By msjodiwms
As a retired couple, my husband and I were on a budget and this year we need to purchase an artificial tree, but we could not afford it. My daughter gave me two, three foot pencil trees that are normally used for Christmas; they have a burlap base.

Natural Centerpiece for Wedding or Parties
By Donna
This simple yet lovely centerpiece was made for my daughter's wedding by the both of us. I think it is so natural looking and sweet. Just like my daughter! It really wasn't costly either compared to some of the things I saw!

I made this monogram initial sign for my office space. I recycled a pizza cardboard circle as the base and a wine paper bag from the market to make the flower and leaf detailing. The rest of the items needed for this project are items you probably already have (or can purchase at an inexpensive price).

I decided to try this fun tape-dying craft after I spilled something on my top and couldn't fully get the stain out. It's one of my best fitting tanks so I didn't want to throw it out! With a bit of tape and fabric paint, I had an afternoon of fun turn into a cute new top.

Make Boo-Boo Bunnies For a Baby Shower
By Jackie H.
I have been making boo-boo bunnies for half my life. Every time there is a baby shower in my huge family, I am the nominated favor maker. I just love making those darling little bunnies! To go with them, I always make a huge one for the baby's nursery. I fill it with baby wash cloths and a bar of baby soap.

Whenever I see abandoned broken doors or window panels, I instantly find treasure in them. I think they make beautiful pieces of art when repurposed. Here is a large paneled window piece painted on for the fall season.

Thrifty Gift Wrap with Food Coloring
By Benetta
I love putting in effort when wrapping a gift, but at the same time, I don't like spending money on gift wrap. The gift wrap usually ends up in the dustbin, so I will rather look at thrifty ways of wrapping a gift without having to spend too much on the wrapping itself.

I first saw this vintage dinner roll holder when another member was looking for a pattern to make one. I found one on the Gingercake website and referred her to those instructions, which are apparently based on an old Simplicity pattern.

This project is called "perfume basket" simply because of its fragrance. The scent doesn't come from any expensive perfume, but from a bar of soap. This will cost you less than a dollar and since it looks gorgeous and elegant it can best be used as a party giveaway, especially for weddings.

Birthday Balloon and Streamer Curtain
By lalala...
I decided to surprise my son on his birthday by hanging this curtain of balloons and streamers from his doorframe. I just used to tape to hang the balloons from curling ribbon and strips of paper streamers. When he opened his door in the morning he got a face full of "birthday cheer"!
