Times Past

On this day in 1964, land in Canberra's north was set aside to become an industrial area similar to Fyshwick. The story on the front page of The Canberra Times reported the National Capital Development Commission had plans for one industrial area in the south at Fyshwick and a second similar area in the north of Canberra.
