Administrator: Richland County addressing audit issues

Richland County Administrator Leonardo Brown said the county is reviewing and presenting information to the S.C. Department of Revenue. Brown read a prepared statement on Friday but did not take questions.

SCDOR issues nearly $64M in rebates

The S.C. Department of Revenue said it sent more than 1.2 million $50 rebate checks to qualified taxpayers. The checks stemmed from the state’s payout for the Mega Millions jackpot winner drawing last October.

Gamecocks, Tigers to face off at Segra Park

Nucor purchasing TrueCore of Laurens

Nucor Corp. announced it is acquiring TrueCore LLC, an insulated metal panel manufacturing company with a facility in Laurens. TrueCore produces insulated metal panels serving the cold storage market.

Southwest adds flights to Atlanta, Kansas City

Southwest Airlines is adding flights from Charleston to Atlanta and Kansas City, Mo., in June. Flights to Atlanta will operate daily, and service to Kansas City will run on Saturdays.
