Apogee Rocketry Workshop #302:

Reloadable Motor Power Point

Advanced Construction Video

This is Gary Rosenfield, the owner of Aerotech, talking about the problems he has seen when people incorrectly assemble a reloadable rocket motor. You'll hear a little bit of the history of reloads at the beginning, and get a glimpse of what possibilities might come in the near future for model rocket propulsion. This presentation was delivered at NARCON 2020 in Tucson, Arizona.

Sanding Tee

Apogee Sanding Tee

The Apogee Sanding Tee is more than just a special aluminum sanding block. It has several features that create a lot of versatility that will help you make rockets quicker, and that look and perform better. Use it to sand fins flat, to stack-sand the edges to make them uniform size, and to round off the leading and trailing edgs. Unlike other sanding blocks, there is a special radius edge to help you sand hard-to-reach fin fillets on really long fins. And as a added bonus, you can use the angle to draw lines down the tube for making fin locations. If you're like us, this will be one of your favorite and most-used tools in your workshop.

Frit: Payload Altitude Rocket

Frit Payload Altitude Rocket

The "Frit" rocket is a contest model designed for the Payload-Altitude event. It is designed specifically for the NAR's competition event where the object is to boost a one ounce payload as high as possible. We completely redesigned this rocket to use the new smaller diameter NAR Payload Weight (included in the kit). It has a completely new nose cone, laser-cut payload tube, and instructions. Your next altitude record is waiting for you to claim it!

Customer Comments

This is such a great company. I love the online chat feature while you're shopping. It's invaluable for those new to rocketry. I've had some issues with my motor orders because I wasn't familiar with NAR and federal rules and regulations but the customer support folks walked me through things and modified my order as appropriate. When I call I always talk to someone knowledgeable and friendly. I really like doing business with Apogee.

I need help with generating the bi-weekly newsletter articles since it takes a lot of effort to put them together. And I'm willing to pay big bucks for your help.

So ask yourself, are you looking to earn some extra money?

I'm now actively seeking writers for articles to appear in this newsletter. And I want unique and cutting-edge articles because that is what you want to read, right? I realize this, so to get articles from outside writers that have the same level of quality, I'm going to have to pay a lot of cash to make it worth it for them. So I've come up with a compensation package where I'll pay up to $350 for good how-to articles.

Are you a writer, and does that interest you? That is a lot of cash! Far more than you'll get by writing for other magazines. And with over 23,000 worldwide subscribers, if you write for the Peak-of-Flight Newsletter, you'll gain a lot of notoriety. Writing for the Peak-of-Flight Newsletter is a great way to show off your rocketry projects and your technical expertise, at the same time as helping out other rocketeers. Imagine how great you'll feel knowing that you made a difference to the hobby.

If you're interested in writing, see the guidelines on our site.
