See aviation history brought to life at the RAF Museum

Looking for ways to keep children entertained in London over the summer holidays? Glide over to the RAF Museum. Their new theatre show is full of aerial stunts, which teach aviation history in a fun and accessible manner.

Summer Flying Theatre - Trailblazers is a specially commissioned show created by award-winning children's theatre troupe Highly Sprung Productions. It celebrates well-known figures like Amelia Earhart, but also obscure pioneers like brave Bessie Coleman. Watch in awe as cast members soar and glide through the air above you.

Suitable for ages 4+, the immersive show uses dynamic storytelling to challenge preconceptions and celebrates resilience, courage and innovation. And if the kids are asking questions afterwards? Explore the rest of the RAF Museum, which is packed with interactive exhibits, historic displays and dozens of vintage aircraft.‌ One of the best museum playgrounds, too!

Trailblazers runs every Wednesday-Sunday, 25 July-1 September 2024, 11am and 2pm. Tap the blue button to find out more and book your tickets.
