The team’s pulling out all the stops to celebrate a quarter-century of making art more accessible, including via its hugely popular Art After Dark Lates. Just contemporary art curious? All are welcome at Affordable Art Fair! The artworks on sale start at just £50, going up to £7,500 — so a range of budgets are catered to. There’s also a collection focusing on pieces under £500, in addition to curated displays celebrating Black History Month and showcasing emerging artists. Plus, with galleries all over the world in the line-up — including exhibitions from Peru, Japan and South Africa — there’ll be artworks on display you might rarely have the chance to see in-person otherwise. Enjoy a unique evening out…On Thursday 19 October and Friday 20 October, Affordable Art Fair stays open till 9pm for Art After Dark Lates. These adults-only after-hours events allow you to explore away from the daytime crowds. Enjoy a cocktail created especially for the fair. Grab a bite from one of the food trucks. Unleash your own creativity with the help of an Ink & Drink workshop. Explore the displays, soundtracked by a live DJ set. … or make a day of it!Thinking of bringing the family? Go for it! Kids under 16 — booked in advance and accompanied by an adult — can visit for free, and all ages are welcome during the Affordable Art Fair’s standard opening hours. There’s even a Weekend Family Morning ticket, which admits two adults and up to three children for just £20 (standard adult admission = £14). With food trucks and a cafe onsite, you can really make a day of it. Don’t forget to snap a selfie at artist Helen Brough’s fantastic floral installation while you’re there.
