IPG Photonics' $215M expansion plans reduced 68% | |
The planned expansion of IPG Photonics' Oxford headquarters was reduced before voters approved a 15-year tax agreement at a town meeting Wednesday. The laser manufacturer initially planned to invest $215 million to add nearly 1 million square feet, including 500,000-square-foot manufacturing and office building, but that part of the expansion will be reduced to just 170,000 square feet due to the acquisition of a nearby facility.
