After standoff with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Trump says he will deliver State of the Union 'when the shutdown is over'

In a pair of late-night Twitter posts on Wednesday, Trump said he is not looking for an alternate venue for the address "because there is no venue that can compete with the history, tradition and importance of the House Chamber." Earlier in the day, Trump teased to reporters that he would search for another place to deliver the speech.
