| Canada has proposed a grocery-related “code of conduct,” which Canadian grocer Loblaw says will ultimately cost consumers over $700 million if the code gets passed into law. The Canadian government says the code is needed as a result of grocers charging higher rates to suppliers. Is the “code” really needed right now? Are there issues with supplier fees in Canada?
