Good morning, Marketer, got code?

When I think of coding, I break out in a cold sweat remembering a college course I took in BASIC. The language was designed by two professors so students in non-scientific fields could use computers. That’s a great thing, but I don’t think they realized how non-scientific some of us were. 

Fortunately, technology has progressed to the point where there are no-code app builders for people like me. As Shama Hyder points out the combination of these apps and AI means everyone can create their own AI-powered solutions.

Giving this kind of power to people is one of the things that’s so amazing about generative AI. Even so, not all people have equal access to it. That lack of access will only increase the already-problematic IT gender gap. In this article we look at how this happens, how it risks preserving AI biases and what needs to be done to fix it.
