Time to look at regional airports for solutions

Schiphol has reached the capacity limit of 500,000 aircraft movements. This puts a huge pressure on the air cargo industry, this while cargo flights make a major contribution to the Dutch economy. The total economic contribution of cargo flights is estimated as 'up to' 962 million euros. Furthermore, around 10,000 jobs would disappear at the airport if all cargo flights at Schiphol were to move abroad.
